For the 2015 Emerald City Comicon, we created a partnership with northwest brewer, Ninkasi, and developed a custom beer for the event. Imagining a robotic keg come to life, who had sprouted arms and legs, we created the brand/illustration and layout for the Big Bot Beer label.
The Big Bot character depicts a fun and friendly face, who would be a welcome addition to any party — especially one that celebrates the greatest pop culture gathering in Seattle!
The finished label artwork was also used in advertising, merchandising, and signage. The popular design quickly sold out, and became an immediate legend as the robotic beast burst through the Emerald City, leaving a trail of satisfied customers in its wake.
